Rayence Demonstrates Full Digital Imaging Product Line at RSNA 2017
Rayence recently showcased their entire line of new as well as enhanced digital imaging products at the 2017 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting, Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago.
Highlighted among its broad product offering were the latest Rayence “Clear ON” image processing-powered 127- and 140-micron C-Series cesium iodide (CsI) and gadolinium oxysulfide (GOS) digital radiography (DR) wireless detectors. “Clear ON” image processing, using enhanced proprietary algorithms and more robust panel electronics, maximizes image quality through noise reduction while using approximately 30 percent less overall dose. Ergonomically designed with tapered, recessed edges and a sure-grip backing, these detectors offer high levels of handling, functionality and diagnostic image quality in the X-ray room and beyond.
Along with Clear ON image processing, Rayence demonstrated its Easy Drive Storage Viewer image storage feature, which allows a user to quickly review an acquired image directly from the detector on any tablet or smartphone before being uploaded to a workstation. Unlike other storage mode functions available today, the Rayence Xmaru worklist with patient ID can be copied directly to a C-Series detector that greatly facilitates the tracking of multiple studies captured in storage mode.
Rayence also presented several full-featured DR systems for a wide variety of hospital, diagnostic imaging, orthopedic, urgent care and podiatry, as well as veterinary imaging environments. Requiring no special ceiling or electrical preparation, these configurations range from a floor-mounted tube DR system available with auto-tracking functionality to a programmable, automatic positioning U-arm.
Disaster image recovery was promoted as well with Rayence Cloud Solutions that provide economical, expandable and accessible image recovery to practices who wish to store their images online or store the images and have them accessible through any browser or anywhere around the globe.
